Luke is two months old!

Luke is two months old! It's been a crazy two months but I've never been happier.
Here's what we've been up to the last month...

Brothers!

Luke cracks me up with his sudden arm movements.

We've taken lots of walk to the neighborhood park. One morning Marshall insisted on holding this float the whole way. Oh what you do to make your toddler happy. It stayed on the front of the stroller the entire 10 minute ride.

We went to an apple farm to pick apples!
Of course Luke slept.

Marshall loved it! You can pick as many apples as you want off the trees and eat them as you fill your bag up.
Double fisting!

I've been brave a couple times and taken the boys by myself to play places.

I was really brave and drove the boys to Kentucky when Luke was 6 weeks old. They both did really well in the car. Only had to stop one time each way.
It was so good for the soul to see best friends.
Kala came over and we talked for two hours. Miss her so much!

I took Luke over to Lauren's house and Rachel met me there.

Lauren just had baby Skyler on June 11th. Future Bffs!

Bright eyed and bushy tailed!

Of course we had to go see Mandy's house. Love me some Hayes man and of course you too Mandy! :)))

Hayes decided that Luke wanted an oatmeal pie as we were leaving. Hehe!

Leighton wanted to meet Luke so she came over to my mom's house to visit.
Luke needs a hair brush hehe!
How is this beautiful girl in first grade?!! Love her so!

My mom has been making M books with pictures of his favorite things and people. On the way back he slept with his new book. Melts my heart!

Fun times in Ky!

Back in Ohio we went to Elin's first birthday party!
She's such a cutie!
Olivia checking Luke out. It was such a beautiful day to lay on a blanket outside!

Ok now on to what Luke is doing at two months!
Stats
Weight- 12.6 lbs (60%)
Length- 23.5 inches (75%)
Diaper size- 1 (I need to switch him to 2s but I have a box of 216 1s!!) :/
Clothes- 3 months
Likes- to be swaddled, the swing, looking at the fan, car rides, baths, riding in the ergo

Sleeping/ eating-
I am still exclusively breast feeding. He still eats every 2-3 hours day and night. He likes to sleep in the swing on full blast during the day but sleeps in the bassinet at night. I give him a bath every night between 6:00 and 7:00. I only use soap every other day so it doesn't dry his skin out. But the bath seems to settle him and get him ready for bed time. At 7 weeks he slept from 8:00-2:00! woo hoo! He would have slept longer but I got up to go to the bathroom and freaked out since he had never slept that long. I made sure he was breathing and fed him while I was awake. That only happened once unfortunately! He's still up every 2-3 hours. I'm tired!

Temperament- When he is hungry or tired he cries like all babies do. When he is awake he will sit happily in his swing or rock n play and stare at the fan or his brother. He's started cooing, smiling, and laughing. He's been on Zantac for the last 4 weeks and that has seemed to help his silent reflux a lot. Prior to Zantac he would cry and cry when I laid him down.
Happy baby!

Brothers- Marshall is still getting used to being a big brother. If we are in a room without Luke he will say "baby?" wondering where he is. He will say "Hi baby" or "Hi Lukey" when he walks up to him. He will also rock him in the rock n play or push the swing when Luke is in it. This last week he started asking to hold Luke almost every day! Sometimes he still gets jealous. Mostly if he's crabby and I'm nursing him and he wants my attention. He will get upset and try to hit Luke or me. He will "threaten" it more times than actually hit him by raising his hand up in the air towards us and saying "not nice" or "no no".

Asking to hold him

They are both wearing the same outfit but Luke is 10 weeks younger.
So the good news is all of Marshall's winter clothes should fit Luke since Luke is bigger than Marshall was at his age.

Marshall's stats at 2 months old
Weight: 10 lbs 14 oz
Length: 23 inches

They both definitely have lots of hair at this age!!

I put Luke in the same bow tie outfit that Marshall wore when he turned 2 months. I got a couple good ones then he had a blowout and I changed him into the sweater because it was 50 degrees! Brrrr!

Such a sweet baby!

Month 2 has had its ups and downs with two little ones but I know how fast it all goes and how blessed I am to have two beautiful boys. I'm so lucky to be able to stay home with them.
