I completely forgot to write a post about this not so perfect photo session we had back at the end of November. I wanted to wait until after Christmas to share the pictures because I used some from the shoot in my Christmas card (not that anybody reads this) haha!
I saw that our photographer was doing mini sessions at a tree farm and thought it would make some great family pictures. But family pictures we did not get! Thirty minutes before we were supposed to leave Rob tells me he can see only half of my face and that he is getting a migraine. He is prone to getting these and when he does he is usually out for a couple hours so I debated what to do. I decided to take Marshall and make it a 1 year/ Christmas session for him. Meanwhile he had been pretty fussy for several days prior to this but I chalked it up to teething. So we get to the tree farm and he cries the entire time unless I am holding him! What a disaster! So it ended up being a Mommy and me shoot. I didn't necessarily want to be in all of the pictures but I was in most trying to hide and let the camera focus on him.
This one was my favorite! Of course I cropped myself out for the Christmas card.
This was another good one.
Then there are these two for his first birthday. Poor thing!
I took him to urgent care immediately after the photo session and found out he had an ear infection! I felt so bad for him. At least this is one for the memory books and we got some good pictures!
