Here we are again! Another month has come and gone. I wish they would slow down already! This is such a fun age, but I feel like I've said that about every month. During the 9th month I feel like he did something new every week! He's becoming such a little boy instead of a baby.
Stats:
Weight- 19 lbs.
Eating- Still drinking 4 bottles a day, 5-6 oz each. He still loves solids and prefers to feed himself. Some of his favorites are- cheese, carrots, pears, puffs, Cheerios, and bananas. He eats 1-2 jars of baby food a day. His favorite is Beechnut pumpkin/apple (his teachers even made it at home they loved it so much)- me? I'm not making baby food anymore because the consistency doesn't come out very well and he eats mostly fresh fruits and veggies.
Sleeping- Daycare he takes maybe 2 short 30 minute naps. Home- he will take 2 longer naps and he goes to bed at night around 7:00 and is up for the day around 6:30.
New things- This last month he started saying mamama and dadada when he wants us or sees us, babbling non stop, cruising a lot more, standing by himself, looking under things, crawling under things, looking for lost toys, waving bye, and he has taken several steps by himself! Watch out! He plays really well by himself or with us. He loves cars, trucks, balls, and books! We bought him a toy that he can stand and push around which he loves!
Crawling through a door at daycare.

At the mall with Mommy enjoying some puffs.
Watching me get ready in the morning (I put him in the dry tub to contain him while I get ready in the morning). This only lasted a few days before he wanted out.
Snuggling with Mommy on the couch.
I was trying to get a good picture of this new pose he does. He leans on his knee and one foot.
Hanging out in his diaper!
Enjoying some books in his new "I love Grammy" onesie my mom got him.
He loves this thing that holds the drink coasters and he LOVES coasters! He likes to bang them together or bang them on our coffee tables.
Finally caught a smile!
"Hmmm I wonder what I will get into next?!"
This past month we went to Oktoberfest. We shared a $17 beer and ate really good fried food! Haha! Yummy!
He looks like he's thinking about something serious.
My friend, Jamie, is married to a firefighter so we stopped by his fire station to check out the fire trucks.
And he spent his last days as a 9 month old, sick again. He woke up with a fever and was sick the rest of the week. Poor baby!
