It's Faaaaallllll!

It's Fall and EVERYONE likes to point that out on Facebook. I like Fall, my favorite part being the weather oh and it used to be Keeneland! Oh how I miss Keeneland! However, as a teacher Fall is the busiest time of the year. It's good and bad. A new school year is good but that brings lots of extra work. Everyone loves to talk about pumpkin spice this and that. I tried a pumpkin spice frappucino from Starbucks and it wasn't very good. A pumpkin latte is ok but not my top pick. I would still order a cinnamon dolce latte any day of the year (iced if its hot outside). Annnnywho we are really lucky to live about 15 minutes from an amazing apple orchard. That is the great thing about Fall- Apples are in season! People drive far to visit this orchard and pick apples. I've taken my last two classes on field trips here and we are going again in October! Most people go and pick apples. But we went to pick pumpkins even though it was the beginning of September (this post is a little delayed). They have a little shop that sells locally grown food. I had to buy apple butter! It is hard to find in the grocery store up north. Delicious!

 There is a ginormous chair to sit in and take pictures. It was too much fun!

 It was two days after he turned 9 months and I hadn't used the 9 month sticker yet so I decided we would celebrate his monthly birthday on this day.

 "Pretending to pick apples" No seriously- I told Rob to go up to the tree and I would take a picture and Marsh reached for the tree. But we didn't even go to the part that people pick apples. Haha!

We gave him an pumpkin to see what he would do with it. They are in our house now and he likes to take them and bang them on the table. Its pretty cute!

There were like 10 outtake for this picture! I was behind Marsh holding him and different parts of my body were in all the pictures. Except this one you can only see the top of my head. He did like playing on the pumpkins though!

We got two big pumpkins and a bunch of little gourds and pumpkins to decorate the house! 

This is what most of our pictures look like these days! It is so hard to take a picture of a very active baby unless he is strapped in!
