8 months

The past month has been just wonderful! Mr. Marsh is becoming such a little boy instead of a baby. This is such a fun age!

Stats:

Weight- 18 lbs (25%) 

Eating- he is still a finicky eater and usually only eats 4 oz bottles about every 3 hours but I always make 6oz...this has always been a concern of ours. But I think he is just a busy, busy boy and doesn't care about drinking bottles. But he loves solids! He loves baby food pouches. He will suck one of those down in 2 minutes! He eats solids 2-3 times a day. He likes to feed himself from his high chair too. He has fed himself broccoli, carrots, peas, bananas, and puffs.  

Sleeping- some days he will take two long naps but other days he will take cat naps. At night he goes down around 7:00 and sleeps until 6:30. He usually wakes up once to eat around midnight. He has slept through the night about 5-6 times in the last month so hopefully he continues that especially since school starts for teachers August 14! Ahhhh! 

New things- crawling!! He started inching a little at a time and every day in the last couple weeks he crawls farther and farther! He loves to play with his toys and if in a good mood will play independently for about 20 minutes. Another new thing he does is cry if I leave the room. He's also really loving books and will look at the pages as I read them. He will sit for three books in a row! His favorites are..."I Love Trucks!" "Farm Animals" "I Love You Little Pumpkin"

This last month we did lots of fun things but this is what I caught on my iPhone as far as pictures...

Lots of walks! This has been the best summer as far as weather goes!

 

Papa Tom visited 

 

We walked a 5K to raise money for SIDS which is seriously the saddest thing imaginable and was a sad walk. It rained almost the entire time...that's why I am soaked...it's not sweat...I do NOT run!

We were in South Carolina when he turned 8 months and these are the only iPhone pics I took that day but stay tuned for a post about his first big trip and lots of pictures!
