We were a little overambitious and scheduled Marshall's baptism the same weekend we had a wedding to go to. My thought was since Rob's parents were going to watch M during the wedding they would already be up here for the baptism. This was our first time leaving M with anyone for an extended time besides daycare and also our first date night since he was born. We were so excited! So were Nana and Grandpa!
Before we left..
My friend and co-worker, Courtney, married Travis! They are the most adorable couple. Their wedding was absolutely gorgeous! From the Cathedral church to the menu to the centerpieces it was beautiful!
The pictures form my Iphone seriously do NOT do it justice!
Rob & I, Molly & Jeremy, Brittany & I, and the gorgeous Bride and Groom!
It is always so refreshing to go to a wedding because it reminds you of your own wedding. It was so wonderful to spend time just my Beau!
When we got home this is what we found, Marsh asleep on Grandpa...
He wore him out...
The next day was Marshall's baptism at St. Matthew's church. Baptisms are held after the noon Mass so we attended Mass first which made for a long day for Marsh at church but he did great.
Fr. Sill performed the baptism.
Jason, Brittany, and Emily are the Godparents (Emily was taking pictures)
Worn out baby...
Afterwards we had a little luncheon at our house...
My Mom made the cake...
My Aunt Pam came from Ky
Emily came from Indiana
Brittany
Lauren and Jason
Proud Grandpa
My Mom and Dad were there too but I didn't get a picture with them. Oops!
Marsh had fun in his jumper after everyone played pass the baby.
I know these two special people are looking down from Heaven so proud...
Train up a child in the way he should go,
and when he is old he will not depart from it.
and when he is old he will not depart from it.
