My week with oldies but goodies!

Over the last week and a half I reunited with so many friends, some I hadn't seen in years!

First, lunch at Cosi with Ashley, Addy, Rycki, Molly, and Jamie. 3 of us are pregnant and 3 have newborn babies. It was a hoot! Ashley came in from Ky to visit the new babies. The caption says it all!

Us preggo mamas. Jamie is 18 weeks, Ashley is 26 weeks, and I'm 19 weeks in this pic!

Later that same night Carrie came into town from Cincy. We had dinner at Martini Italian in downtown Columbus. It was delicious! Carrie just got married, Brittany just got engaged, and Courtney is getting married next summer!

This dessert was to die for. Anytime I'm at an Italian restaurant that I haven't eaten at before I order tiramisu! This was sitting in a chocolate cup! I had a few bites and took the rest home. Who takes dessert leftovers home? This girl!

Now on to Ky...on Saturday I headed down for Lauren's bridal shower. Lauren is getting married October 5th!
These are the bridesmaids in Lauren's wedding- Rachel (Lauren's sister), Marie (Lauren's sister), Lauren, Rachel, Becky, and me. The little girls are Brooklyn and Arianna and Daisy!

Beautiful best friend, Mandy!

Beautiful Bride to be!
Purple polka dots!
Silly girls!

After the shower I headed to my Dads house out in the country. On Sunday we went to the pool. This was the beautiful view!

His dog Kucher, named after the golfer, laying in the shade

My Dad lounging!

We drove around on the golf cart, watched golf on tv, ate good food, and attempted to fish. All we caught was algae. :( it was so nice and relaxing to be out in the beautiful country.

The pond we tried to fish in.

On Monday I headed back to the city. I met up with 2 very special kids, Kaylie and Clay. While I was in college I babysat for these two. It was so much fun catching up. We ate at Josie's which was delicious!

Kaylie is drop dead gorgeous and will be a senior this year!

I started watching Clay when he was 4, he is now 14 and 6'1"! So tall and handsome! I couldn't believe it!

On Tuesday I met my former team teacher, Jenny. I taught with her at St. Peter and Paul my first two years of teaching. I hadn't seen her in 3 years so it was great to catch up. We ate at Shakespeare and Co. It has a bunch of antique and ornate furniture. Such a neat place!

And then we got pedicures. It was like there hadn't been a day that had passed since we last talked.

In the evening I went over to visit Kala, one of my best friends since 7th grade. She has 2 of the cutest little boys ever. It made me excited to have a little boy of my own.

Parker sitting on Kala's lap. He loves his Mama. He is 18 months and has a vocabulary of a 2 year old!

Jaxson is 4 and such a sweetie! He kept changing into different costumes.

On Wednesday I met my best friend, Rachel at the YMCA to work out and then go to the pool. It felt really great to work out. We attempted to sit by the pool but it was too chilly and cloudy. Who would think that the weather would be this way at the end of July!
That night my mom and I went to a couple baby stores and she bought me a couple baby outfits. We ate at Bella Notte, which is where I worked as a hostess from the time I was 16-20.
On Thursday, my friend Ashley and I were supposed to go to the pool but once again it was too cold so she had the bright idea to meet at Magees to get a donut! She suggested the chocolate cake donut! I wish I would have taken a picture! It was to die for! She has the most adorable 22 month old, Owen. We walked to woodland park and watched him slide over and over again! Once again it made me so excited to have a little boy soon! Check out her blog at bluegrassbabies.blogspot.com!

For lunch I met Lauren and Brooklyn. We ate at Ramsey's, which came from a pregnancy craving of fried green tomatoes. They were so good!
We went to the nail salon after and they got pedicures and I got a manicure!
Later that evening I met my friend Beth at a new restaurant downtown called The Jax. We went to college together and it was great catching up with her too!
I'm sad I didn't take more pictures of the week but I hate to be the annoying person constantly snapping pictures instead of paying attention to them.
On Friday it was time to head to lake cumberland for Lauren's Bachelorette party.
Rachel and I loaded down my little jeep.
There were 14 girls that came and it was a blast! We rented a cabin for the weekend and a pontoon boat on Saturday.
It was fun but being pregnant at a bachelorette party isn't something that is necessarily ideal! So I had a couple of these!

On Friday night we played some games! We all brought Lauren a pair of underwear and she had go guess who brought which pair.
Don't you love the gold ones?
This was throw the rings on the banana game. I love Becky's face in this picture.

Me driving the boat! It was so much fun being on the water! I love the lake!
I got a new photo editing app- A Beautiful Mess- so I had fun playing with it as you can see.

I had fun seeing so many old friends but am soooo glad to be home with my hubby! I missed him!
This is what he was up to while I was gone...

He ordered this much top soil to be delivered to make flower beds for the back yard.

Earlier this summer he dug out these beds so we can plant in the back yard and add a little color!
Before the top soil...

After! He shoveled it all by himself! Wow!

I love my husband's hard work and dedication! He's the best!
Now I'm off to rest! 19 days until the first day of school!
