My sweet baby boy is two!
On the morning of his birthday I had balloons and a sign and some presents set out for him. He didn't understand what his birthday meant but it was fun!
Of course my poor December baby will always have Christmas decorations up on his birthday.
This was his first time really opening presents. He was excited!
For his party, I decided to rent a room at an ice cream place (Graeter's) that has an indoor play area. He doesn't like cake but likes ice cream. They did all the party decor, set up, and clean up which I am all about these days.
I found a lady who makes cakes out of her home. She did a great job!
Elmo!
Papaw and Luke
Olivia!
The excited birthday boy! He climbed up the big structure probably 20 times and kept sliding down the big slide!
Rob's previous co-worker, Queenie, came with her daughter Zoie!
My previous co worker and dear friend, Coleen, came and brought her daughter, Elin!
Nana holding Marshall
They had a huge banana teeter totter Marshall loved!
My previous coworker, Danielle, came and this is her silly daughter Avery. She was the oldest one at 4 if that tells you how young the other kids were.
Grandpa and Luke
This is not the best picture but I wanted to document Queenie, Brittany & Troy, Nikki, and Zach (behind the glass) being there!
Only picture I got of Rob- I'm so bad at taking pictures! Lol
Lily
They gave each child a scoop of ice cream and any toppings they wanted. Most of kids were probably too young to eat ice cream but Avery loved it and so did the parents!
Sliding fun!
Brittany and Luke
Coleen and Elin
Marshall being shy.
I didn't get Eleanor's picture but she was there too. She's a month younger than Marshall so she's at a very busy age and hard to get a picture of. Her Dad and Rob used to work together. All in all it was fun even though the place smelled like dirty socks haha and the play area was open to the public. The kids had fun and that's all that matters!
***So the poor birthday boy didn't have a bite of ice cream or cake. I thought it was because he was so excited and wanted to play. But as soon as we got home he got sick all over the couch! I was glad it wasn't at the party or on the way home. Then the next day Luke had a fever and runny nose. So not the way to end a birthday weekend but glad it stayed away until after the party.
