I've known Kasi since she was in elementary school! She got married in Kentucky so I decided to go to her wedding and stay down in Kentucky for a couple days! Her and Zack have been together forever and are perfect for each other!
The weather was just gorgeous!
The background for pictures was breathtaking! They got married at a winery behind a castle. You can kind of see the castle in the background if you look close enough.
It was past M's bed time and dinner time but since he slept a little on the way over he did ok. Rob chased him around the whole time since he doesn't sit still these days.
Grammy and M
My Mom officiated the wedding and did a beautiful job!
On the move in his first bow tie!
There was no place to change his diaper so I put a changing pad down on the chairs people sat on during the ceremony. After the diaper change he had to walk around without shorts on. I will spare you the details of why he couldn't wear his shorts. Hehe
Kasi, Kala and I
Kasi looked beautiful!
Congrats Kasi and Zack!! I am so happy for you!
Every morning my Mom took M on a walk which gave me time to rest which was amazing! The school around the corner has this swing for kids with special needs. My mom took him there every day! He absolutely loved it! She pushed him one day for 45 minutes.
On this day I took him down to the swing and he fell asleep.
We also swam at my Mom's pool and played inside a lot when it was raining.
Marshall at Grammy's with his "laptop".
I also met Becky, Mandy, and Lauren at a park with some of their kids. I left M with my Mom because if I had to chase him around a park I wouldn't have been able to talk to anyone!
Marigold and Hayes are only a couple weeks apart. It was so great to see my BFFs but it definitely wasn't long enough.
Lauren's due date was the next day.
We also went to Morehead so my Dad could check my eyes and Marshall's too! I went to his office but he brought some tools to check his eyes at my brother's house.
I got LASIK a couple years ago and my eyes still look great and I can see 20/15. Marshall's look good too!
We went to the pool to meet Lauren and Rachel and their kids. Marshall wasn't a fan. The water was freezing and he wanted a place to run around. So once I took his wet clothes off he was a lot more happy being dry and holding this cup than swimming.
Brooklyn holding M
Rachel's son playing with M who is still holding that cup.
We had a wonderful time spending time with my Mom, seeing friends, and just relaxing!
Here M is fast asleep on the way back to Ohio still holding his laptop. He melts my heart!
