Well we made it! We made it a full year, can you believe it?! In some ways it has flown by and in other ways it feels like he's been here forever. I had no idea that parenting would be so challenging but so rewarding. The hardest part for me was adjusting to lack of sleep. I use to loooove my sleep-sleeping in, taking naps. That pretty much goes out the window once you have a baby. Which is ok because he will sleep one day and now I am used to it.
The most rewarding part of being a parent is seeing him learn and grow. It's amazing how much they change from day one to month 12. Every new stage brings its ups and downs. We managed to make it through them all. I'm sure the next year will bring it's fair share of challenges but many more wonderful memories! I'm so thankful for this last year and my beautiful baby boy!
Stats
Weight: 20 lbs.
Height: 29 inches
Eating: We've been slowly transitioning to cows milk. He drinks three bottles a day. He eats regular food for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks. He still loves Cheerios, cheese, and puffs. He also loves yogurt melts, applesauce, carrots, pasta, mum mums, blueberry waffles, hummus, and banana pancakes (I mix one banana, a scoop of Peanut butter, dash of cinnamon, 1 egg, and a scoop of flour).
Sleeping: Knock on wood but he is finally sleeping through the night 7:00-7:30! Woo hoo! He still takes two naps a day as well.
Personality: He is very strong willed and will let us know when he doesn't like something or doesn't want to do something by screaming and throwing himself back. He plays well by himself but likes to play with Rob and I the most.
New things
He loves to bring us book after book to read to him. He now says "ball" and "uh-oh".
He loves to climb under and out of things.
He drinks from a sippy cup now. We offer cold cows milk but he prefers water and my cup! Hehe!
I turned by back for one second and he was climbing up the stairs, Uh-Oh!
Here's what we've been up to the last month...

I was trying to take a picture to send to my friend Bliss since she sent him this adorable outfit. But he closed his eyes and stuck out his tongue. Hehe!

Playing with his remote.
Shopping with Mom!
He loves to climb in and out of this chair in his room.
Marshall is one!! What a blessing!
He is the light of our lives!
Don't worry Mommy and Daddy feel sad about you growing up too! :(
****Side note- he cried during most of this 30 minute photo session unless I was holding him. I took him to urgent care afterwards and he had an ear infection. Poor baby!
