11 months!

Seriously?! One more month and my baby is going to be 1 YEAR OLD! It can't be possible! Didn't I just give birth?

Here are some pics in no particular order of what we've been up to the last month...
Hanging out in the living room.

Halloween!

Sleeping in the car...

Waving Hi!

All clean after bath time!

I happened to have the camera out to catch him WALKING!

Third haircut- I made the mistake of taking him to a place around the corner and they did an awful job. He was squirming a lot but she just went straight across his bangs with the scissors. She didn't even wet his hair first. He looked like Jim Carey from Dumb and Dumber. I know that's awful.

Pictures on a beautiful Fall day outside!

Finally caught a smile!

Walking all over the place!

My mom is really into sewing and she made him a OSU/ KY vest. We put it on him over his shirt. Hehe!

Weight: 20 lbs.
Height: 29ish inches
Diaper size: 4
Clothing size: 12 months
New things: going from kneeling to standing, clapping his hands, following one step directions, waving hi and bye, saying hi (seriously melts my heart!) and full on WALKING!

Eating: He drinks about 4 bottles of formula, 2-6 oz each. He has been drinking less and less formula lately so maybe he's almost ready for cow's milk! He still prefers to feed himself. We have introduced lots of new regular food this month. He loves hummus on pita bread, pasta mixed with baby food, and grilled cheese. His top three favorite foods are still puffs, Cheerios, and cheese.

Sleeping: On the weekends he will take two 1.5 hour naps if we are home. He goes to bed around 7:00 and gets up around 6:30. Lately, he has been waking up several times at night. He screams or cries for a couple minutes then goes back to sleep. But this wakes us up and is hard for us to go back to sleep. This parenting thing is no joke. I guess you never get back your nights of restful sleep when you become a parent.

Personality: He is such a sweet boy and will play by himself for awhile. He loves books! He will sit on my lap for a good 15 minutes and listen to book after book. He has about 10 favorites. If you open one he doesn't like watch OUT! He will let you know by giving us a high pitched scream. He will also throw himself cry/whine/scream if I change his clothes or diaper, put him in his car seat, or when he is all done eating. That's where the pacifier comes in handy! Give him a paci before or during any of the previously mentioned times and he is good to go. His stranger anxiety with new people has gotten worse. It takes him a good 30 minutes to warm up to unfamiliar people. This includes his Grandparents. So that makes it hard to leave him with anyone other than daycare. Rob and I still have only gone on 3 dates since he was born. That's the hardest part about being a new parent and living far away from close friends and family. But enough about me. It won't be like this forever.

Things he loves...
His new elephant toy! It blows out air to make balls pop out. In this picture he is sticking his hand down the air hole. So silly!

He loves pacis! We started putting 3 pacifiers in his crib at night and it seems to help him sleep a little better.

He still loves this toy...

11 months pictures! It's hard to catch a mobile baby still but here's what I managed to get.
I decided to try him in the chair. He surprised me and sat still.

Do you see his little feet crossed? He does this everytime he sits and I think it's just adorable but I think everything he does is cute.

Such a sweetheart! He truly continues to melt my heart!
