First Mother's Day!

Wow what an amazing first Mother's Day! Rob started the day off by taking M so I could sleep in a bit. Sleeping in is now 8:00 for me when he takes him.  M has been getting up between 6-7:00. I am so tired! When I got up Rob had a card, Gerber daisies, and a gift set out for me.

The butterfly is M's little footprints that he made at school! My first Mother's Day gift!

Rob's gift was so thoughtful! It was a baby book. The neat part is it came with a footprint/ hand print kit that doesn't make a mark on the baby's skin when you use it! I immediately started filling it out!

Rob's parents came to spend time with us and celebrate Mother's Day too!  Rob made us a huge breakfast (pancakes- chocolate chip & plain, homemade hash browns, fruit, and bacon). It was delicious and his first time making pancakes! M hasn't seen his Grandma since December so he wasn't sure what to think at first but within a couple minutes he warmed up to her and fell asleep in her lap sitting on the porch! I've never seen him do this! Usually he has to be rocked to sleep. It was so sweet!

We had a great visit!

After they left, we decided to head to our favorite outdoor mall since it was so nice outside. We had dinner at the Rusty Bucket. We are lucky because M is so good in restaurants! After dinner we walked over to Graeters for ice cream. Did you know they have a chocolate dipped pretzel cone? It was amazing! When we got back we took some pictures outside.
It was a perfect Mother's Day!
I'm so lucky to be a Mom to this little guy!
