Marshall is 5 months old! I can not believe another month has passed! I feel like I just wrote about him being four months! They say when you have kids, the days are long but the years fly by and that is totally true already. Can you imagine what our parents feel like?
Here's a comparison from 1 month-4 months
2 months has to be my favorite. Its hard to catch a smile with a camera these days.
Here's a couple highlights from the last month...
We started his 4th month by taking our first road trip to Cincinnati to meet my best friend Rachel and her daughter, Ari!
My friend told me about an awesome high chair she got for her baby. It's a 4-in-1 and 2 kids can use it at the same time! It's called graco blossom 4-in-1 if you're looking for one. I wish we would have had this sooner because infants can sit in it also. I thought we wouldn't need a high chair until he started eating solids. I was wrong. He has a blast in it. However, he will scream and cry when he gets frustrated with a toy, which is a new thing he's been doing, and he loves to throw his toys over the side of his high chair.
We took our first road trip as a family 1 1/2 hours away for a baptism. Rob's best friend, Jason, has twins who are 10 months old. I didn't get a picture with all three kids together but the minister snapped this pic. Their little girl is Lily and we have Marshall just like the show "How I met your Mother" Hehe!
Daddy's turn!
We went to our first birthday party! My friend Rycki has a daughter who turned one! It was so much fun! There were so many kids running around. M was the youngest one.
On our way to church
Do you see this child's hair? He needs a haircut at 4 months old!
So for the past month Mr. M has been waking every 2-3 hours at night pretty frequently.
I am so exhausted and desperate for sleep! I heard about this sleep suit thing and thought why not? It's called the Merlin sleep suit! It's miraculous! He looks absolutely ridiculous in this thing but it is worth every penny! This past week we put him in it and he slept 11-12 hours only waking up only once to eat for the first few nights. But now he is back to waking up every 3-4 hours. I'm sooooo tired!
I got a size large which is for 6-9 months because I wasn't sure how small the small size would be so it's a little big.
We wore grey for sweet Missy.
I just know she's looking down on us and laughing at M's hair and ridiculous sleep suit.
5 month stats
Weight: 15.5 lbs.
Height: 25 inches
Diaper size: 3
Clothes size: 6 months
He hasn't really mastered anything new this month, but he is so much more aware of his surroundings. We notice lots of little things that he can do, like hold onto toys easier and entertain himself for longer periods of time. He's also a lot more aware of people in the room and will follow you wherever you go.

Here are some more pictures we've taken over the last month...
Mandy do you recognize the mattress? Hehe! I took the sheets off to wash them and he was perfectly content just laying on the mattress. Thank-you Mandy!

As you can see he loves putting his hands in his mouth.
5 month pictures
As you can see he was not very happy toward the end.
I tried it the next day after a bath and his hair looks like an old man. hehe!
