3 months

Well the last week has been pretty difficult going back to work.  The hardest part is dropping him off every morning and having enough energy at night to take care of him after working all day. But on one hand it is actually nice to be back in a routine and see my students. My co-teachers have made it really easy to come back. After being at daycare for a week he got sick for the first time. He developed a fever on Sunday night so I had to stay home with him Monday and Tuesday. It definitely breaks your heart as a mom to see your baby sick and not be able to do anything for him. Well except suck the snot out of his nose. That's something I thought I would never say. Lol! I got the nose Frida and it sounds gross but it really works. That and Vicks vapor rub on his feet work wonders!

Let's get to the subject at hand! My baby boy is 3 months old!

First day at daycare :(

Milestones:
He has really discovered his hands. He loves to stare at them and put them in his mouth.

His head is a lot less wobbly and he can hold it up pretty much by himself.

He is getting better at holding little toys and swatting at things in front of him. He still coos a lot, smiles, and screeches when you talk to him. He loves his rock n play, play mat, and mobile.
Sleep- his sleep has been thrown off since he's been sick. It's hard for him to breathe since he's so congested. He is still sleeping in our bedroom. He's only been sleeping 2-3 hrs at a time the last week which makes for a very tired momma! So if this post makes no sense or has typos that's why!
3 months stats
Diaper size- 2
Clothes size- 3 months fits best but if the outfit doesn't have feet he can wear 0-3. I think he is growing in length a lot more than weight.
Weight- about 12 lbs. (We weighed him at home since he doesn't go back to the Dr. until he's 4 months old.)
Length- roughly 24 inches

Here are pictures from the last two weeks...

This last picture sums up our last two weeks! Some days I would like to throw my hands up and say I give up but I have to keep telling myself these days will pass and he won't be this little for long. Working and being a mom to a baby is the hardest thing I've ever done. But being a teacher is the best profession to be in because I have spring break in one week! I also keep reminding myself of this Bible quote...
I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me.
Philippians 4:13
