So I have been waiting to post all the pictures of the nursery until it was "perfect". Well you know what? It's never going to be perfect. I don't usually do New Year's resolutions but this year one of mine is to stop waiting for everything to be perfect because its never going to be. Our wonderful photographer Melinda Moore came to our house to take newborn pictures 10 days after Marshall was born. She took some of the nursery too. Many of you may think, what is wrong with the nursery? What more does it need? I will point out what I think the imperfections are but it doesn't have to be perfect! Right?
Before
Now
Rob and his Dad put up the white paneling and it looks amazing!
Paint color- Biltmore Buff
Rug and curtain rods- Home Goods
Dresser-Young America
Ottoman- Ballard's
Curtains- Pottery Barn Kids
Imperfection- The ottoman is not covered with any material. My mother in law found the glider and ottoman at Ballard's and we plan on covering the ottoman with fabric. Also we still have to hang Marshall's letters to spell his name above the crib.ABC painting- eBay
Changing table- Amazon
Chevron Changing table cover- Etsy
Baby- me (hehe)
Porthole mirror-Ebay
Lamp- Home goods
Ship- present from my sister-in-law's aunt, Regina
Imperfection- The picture frame doesn't have a picture. The lighthouse was supposed to go inside the lamp but the bottom is too wide to fit.
Glider- Ballard's
Lamp- Ebay
Side table- Home Goods
Crib- Pottery Barn Kids Outlet
Bedding- Pottery Barn Kids
The mobile was a present from Rob's Aunt Phyllis and Uncle Ed who live in Arizona.
The painting in the background is one that used to be Rob's parents and its hard to see in this picture but its a sailboat at sea.
I'm happy the way my nautical theme came together. I hope Marshall likes boats! I don't know what I would do without my Mother in law who is an interior designer. She's amazing! Although she would tell you I found most of the things myself.

It is just perfect!!! I love your resolution & I love you!!!
