34 weeks!

32nd week:

My 32nd week was pretty uneventful. I had stomach issues, headaches, and an ongoing earache but other than that I felt great! Ugh! I'm being sarcastic. I can't decide if it's pregnancy or illness. This past weekend Rob and I went over to one of his friends house to watch the OSU/ Penn State game which was fun. I ran errands, cleaned, and went for a walk. I'm not sure that was the best idea because I had a constant Braxton Hick contraction the entire 30 minutes I was walking.
Oh yeah one morning we woke up to light snow...

I was pretty proud of a project I had my students do this week, Salt dough maps! This was the first time having my students make these. As I was trying to think about the easiest way to make them, I got an aha moment and thought of individual pizza boxes! Easy to transport when done and individual for each child! I called a pizza place to see if they would donate the boxes and they were happy to. They turned out so cute! They had to make a map of Ohio, a map key, a compass, and draw the borders around Ohio.

Before painting

Finished- we used star stickers in the middle to mark the capital. I thought they turned out so cute!

33rd week:
I start every week off by going to the grocery. I pretty much use my crockpot weekly! This week I made 2 recipes off Pinterest. What did we do before Pinterest? Oh yeah...cookbooks!
This just looked good...
 Crockpot Raviloi casserole

I love bow tie pasta but to keep it healthier I subbed organic whole wheat rotini. I need to eat more veggies so the added spinach was great for that!

My version was ok but not great. It was pretty bland. I skipped the garlic because I forgot to buy it at the grocery and I think that would have helped spice it up a little, but given me heartburn. Every pasta recipe I've made in the crockpot hasn't  been very good so I probably won't be making any pasta recipes again.

For lunch I love eating frozen organic burritos. They can get expensive and I pinned a homemade recipe so I thought I would try it out. I used black beans instead of refried beans, cheese, and Mexican rice. I baked them for 20 minutes at 350 degrees.

My version

They were actually really good so I don't think I'll be buying the frozen ones anymore! Rob loved them too!

Halloween was this week too. My school allows the kids to dress up and go trick or treating around the school. It was fun! I bought a pumpkin shirt. I had insomnia a lot this week so I wasn't feeling in the party mood at all. getting through the crazy day was hard enough. It poured rain that night so trick or treaters were soaked in our neighborhood. I didn't even pass out candy. I know, boo to me. But next year we will have an 11 month old to walk around! I can't wait!

On Friday I drove 3.5 hours to Ky for my family/ friend baby shower. Originally Rob was going to drive me but I felt good enough and I had time at work to leave early Friday. It was an easy drive both ways and just annoying to stop and pee every hour. It was so great seeing my mom and my best friends. I will post about the shower soon! Of course Mandy took lots of pictures! I can't wait to see them!

34 weeks stats:
Weight gained- 30 lbs.
Feeling- excited for baby, lots of Braxton hicks, nauseous, lots of gastrointestinal issues, insomnia
Baby- is moving a ton when I sit still, sitting on my bladder (I probably go to the bathroom 3-4 times per night) and according to this he is peeing a pint a day, I wonder where that goes

This says that I should be singing to him but I just find it weird. I can't really sing and not being able to see him makes it a little strange but maybe I'll start. :/

Craving- banana shakes, peanut butter- (I've gone through almost an entire jar of PB in 2 weeks which is a lot for me bc I usually don't eat PB), pasta, apples, grapes, burritos, Chinese food (however I haven't fulfilled this craving yet, it just sounds good)
What I miss- shaving my legs with ease, regular coffee (I've been drinking half caff but it's just not the same), wine, beer, bending down with comfort, working out, sleeping

Rob just said the goal for this week is decide on a name! So I'll keep you posted!
