32 weeks

Week 30
I have to admit, week 30 was the toughest week so far in pregnancy. Coming back to work on Monday after a weekend of traveling was HARD! I was also sick the entire week with either a cold and/ or a stomach bug. I also had open house at school one night until 8:00. It was just an exhausting week. Rob and I ordered pizza that Friday and I tried to rest as much as I could that weekend. I had lots of Braxton hicks and aches/pains in my legs, back, and insides. So good riddens week 30! Rob worked so hard on getting the nursery done since we are getting big items in the mail and my baby showers are quickly approaching. We need a place to put all of our stuff, which is a wonderful problem to have.

This is before we got the crib- color- silver sage

Process of installing wainscoting- Rob and his Dad did it

Painted Biltmore buff

Rug from home goods

Week 31
wanted a navy dresser so my mother in law found one and ordered it. It was delivered and is absolutely gorgeous! It's Stanley.

Week 31 was a lot better. I was blessed to have two baby showers thrown for me. My co-workers threw me one on Friday, October 18th at school. They did a nautical theme and it was so cute!

First of all I walked in my classroom in the morning and Jenn, my co teacher, and I both had on mint green. I had to get a picture. I went to several different stores to find a cute long dress for my showers and there was nothing in the maternity sections so at the last minute I found this mint sweater at target in the juniors section. It totally fit! Of course it's a large but still!

All the cute gifts

The food and decor

So cute if you zoom in you will see gold fish with "catch of the day", mints with "throw us a
Lifesaver", and cookies with "chips ahoy"

Love the striped napkins and punch

On the tables were sand, fish net, shells, goldfish, and message in a bottle. Guests had to write a message and put them in baby bottles. So adorable!

We played 2 games. The first one the guests had to put a paper plate on top of their head and draw a baby. I had to go through the plates and pick the best one. It was hilarious!

In the second game the guests had a couple minutes to look at a tray with baby items and they had to memorize the items and write them down. I got to keep all the items, which is so thoughtful!
A lot of my coteachers contributed to a group gift so we got our pack n play! Yay!
We got so many other great gifts, including baby's first books! As I was opening the gifts I got so emotional! I held up an adorable outfit and it hit me that I'm really having a baby. I just lost it and started crying. I was so emabrassed because I was sitting in front of like 25 co workers! I'm sure they understood since most of them have kids or are pregnant right now too. I feel so blessed to have co workers that are so wonderful.

Shower # 2
My Columbus girlfriends threw me one on Sunday, October 20th. I have met a wonderful group of girls through the school I work at. Jess hosted at her house and all the girls chipped in and brought food and decorations.
Cutest diaper cake that Molly made!

Message in a bottle. The girls had to fill out this super sweet fill in the blank letter to baby. I can't wait to read them!

Watermelon baby- Brittany made this, with the help of her fiancĂ© Troy, of course :)

Sock bouquet

Me ready to eat!

Deana holding sweet baby Tanley and Courtney holding Jacob! So glad babies were there.

Deana still holding Tanley and Jess holding Jacob. Look at Jacob peaking at Tanley! Future couple maybe?!

Tanleys Mom, and my dear friend, Rycki! Doesn't Tanley look like her?

Jacob's mom and my dear friend, Molly. I can't wait to have a boy just like Jacob.

Gift time:

Jamie, the one sitting next to me is as pregnant as me, brought her awesome camera and took pictures. In this one we posed and set the camera on a timer. It was hilarious! We had to do it a couple times and the picture still turned out dark.

I had such a wonderful shower! Thank you for making me feel so special and for all the wonderful gifts! We are truly blessed!

Week 32

Pregnancy stats
Weight gained: 28 lbs.
Maternity clothes: I am very lucky becaus Rycki let me borrow tons of mat clothes but now that it's getting cold and I'm getting bigger I have very few things to wear. I broke down and bought a couple tops from old navy after the shower. I hate to spend money on mat clothes when I only have 8 more weeks, but I can't walk around cold or naked. Hehe I've been wearing Rob's shirts and maybe even his sleep pants when I'm at home.
Craving: banana nut muffins, green beans, pizza, applesauce, apple butter, crackers dipped in applesauce (I know weird right?), chocolate chip cookies, anything with cheese
Feeling: emotional, tired, having Braxton hicks a lot, aches and pains inside and out, feel my best when I'm working. Sitting is starting to get uncomfortable.
Baby is:

At my 32 week Dr. appointment my Dr. said everything looked great and I was measuring right on track. How they figure this out is by measuring from my pubic bone to my breast bone in centimeters. It's supposed to measure 1 cm per week and I measured right at 32 cm. I've been feeling him hiccup down low so I asked my dr if that means he's head down and she said yes. He gets the hiccups daily, sometimes several times per day. She said that's really good because it means they are breathing and taking in oxygen. Such great news!
