Hi!
Hope your New Year celebrations were fabulous! Wedding plans have been slow going these days. Between the holidays and Rob working like crazy we have been BUSY! However, we did make time to register last weekend. I had started a small registry online at Pottery Barn back in September. We both wanted the experience of actually going and picking things out together. I knew it would be fun and it sure was! Who wouldn't like picking out things for other people to buy that you would probably never buy for yourself?! We went to Macy's! Their rewards program is great because all the things that we don't get we can buy for 10-20% off. The one thing that was so overwhelming to me was picking out china and dinnerware. I feel like we will never use china but this is the time to register for it because every house needs china right? Needless to say we put that on the back burner for now and will make a decision at some point between now and the wedding. The next day I went online to William's-Sonoma to take a peek and start a registry on their website. I wasn't sure if we would need anything else after Macy's and Pottery Barn but OMG! I spent like 2 hours on their website and didn't even get to look at half of the things. I was so surprised at all the little gadgets that you would never think about (ie. avocado cutter, banana slicer). I was so excited! So needless to say registering has been a blast. I have many things to do before the wedding (invitations, cake tasting, entree tasting/picking, and most importantly BRIDESMAIDS dresses). Emily (Maid of Honor) and I decided we better pick out dresses ASAP. So we are going to meet in Cincy tomorrow and shop till we drop. LOL! I am so excited to see her and her daughter (one of the flower girls) Maddie.

Disclaimer: I feel a little weird advertising about where we are registered because I don't want to seem greedy. We appreciate any gifts that are purchased and do not want any of our guests to feel like they have to purchase anything from these registries or anything at all! :)
