Wow! All I can say is we are truly blessed to have so many wonderful friends and family members. This past weekend Rob and I headed down to Hilton Head, SC for an engagement party. My future in laws have a house down there and their very good friends, Jack and Debbie Proud, wanted to throw us an engagement party. Jack and Debbie are like family to Rob. They have known him for 25 years! We were delighted to learn that 25 couples RSVP'd to come. We flew down Friday night after work and the engagement party was Saturday night. My Dad and Step-Mom, Lois, came down a day before us. Lois had never met my future in laws so they thought this would be a great opportunity to get to know one another. It went very well! Everyone got along wonderfully. My Dad and Lois are both avid golfers so they golfed on Friday and Saturday. Of course while they golfed Saturday I got a manicure, pedicure, and hair done. How wonderful it is to get pampered once in awhile! We had met several of the invited couples before. It was so great to meet more couples that Bob and Marla have become so close with down in SC. They were so kind to come celebrate our engagement with us. Marla and her friend, Lynn, did all of the flower arrangments and they were stunning! I wish I would have taken pictures of them. The caterers asked which florist delivered them. That is how great Marla and Lynn are at making arrangments. We can not thank Debbie and Jack enough for everything! Here are some pictures.

This was the wreath on the door at the Proud's house. They put hearts in it and spelled our names on the ribbon. Too cute!

We had a 5:30 AM flight Monday morning to make it back to work at a decent time. It was exhausting getting up at 3:30 but so worth it! We love trips down to SC! We are so blessed to be able to do this so often!
