Natalie Elizabeth is here!

Natalie's birth story

8/7-Dr apt- 3 cm

8/12-Saturday I had contractions off and on all night but nothing close enough to go in.

8/13- Sunday contractions all night again. Timed them the next morning and they were getting to be 6-7 minutes apart. Talked to nurse she said go in. Called my mom and told her to come over so we could go to hospital. Left around 9:30. Stopped at Starbucks to get breakfast. Checked in to L and D and I was 4-5 cm. Got a room and had a great nurse. She kept saying how I was her easy patient. Contractions were getting stronger and about 5 min apart. Got an epidural around noon and felt amazing!! A resident doctor came in and broke my water. Checked me around 1:30 and I was still only about 5 cm so started pitocin. Around 3:00 they checked me again and said I had no cervix left and I was fully dialated! That happened way faster than my first two. She said she would go call my doctor and to tell her if I felt pressure. Around 3:15 I felt pressure. She checked and baby was low. Dr came in around 3:30 and looked at Rob and said you are going to deliver this baby 😳 She put gown, hair net and gloves on herself and Rob. She sat him down and explained a few things. The nurse asked if I wanted to watch and I said yes. She moved the mirror on the ceiling so I could see. I pushed twice and she was here at 3:48 pm! Dr coached Rob how to deliver her. I actually had a dr appointment scheduled for 3:50 to get checked haha so my dr was with me during that time which I thought was funny. She nursed right away for an hour and has been a great nurser ever since! Love her so!! I would have 10 more babies! I love labor and delivery!

She's here!!

Foot prints!

We only stayed 24 hours and then we were out of there!
Her poor face was bruised because she was delivered so quickly.

The boys were absolutely smitten with her!

She completes our family!!! We are soon blessed!
