Fall Fun!

October is one of my favorite months. The weather changes, leaves change colors, pumpkin patches, apple picking, and Halloween!
Our October started out great with a visit from one of my best friends, Lauren and her daughters- Brooklyn who's 12 and Skyler who's 16 months.

Luke and Skyler had a blast with the bubble machine.

Brooklyn has always loved Marshall.

They got here on a Thursday evening and we planned a zoo trip for the next day. It was 80 degrees so perfect weather! We wanted to go after the kids nap time. Well that wasn't the best idea because we got to the zoo at 4:00 and they closed at 5:00! I had no idea! Note to self- check the times before you plan a trip!
Luke and Skyler loved the cheetah.

All of us minus Lauren.

Brooklyn and Marshall

The next day we decided to go to the park in the morning.
Brooklyn loves her little sister.

That afternoon we planned a trip to a pumpkin patch only 5 minutes from my house!

It was super cute and fun! It had pumpkins, popcorn, hay ride, and animals!

Baby calf born in September!
We had a blast with Lauren and her girls. The trip was definitely too short!

A couple weeks later we went to Pigeon Roost Farm to meet Courtney who lives an hour and a half away. Courtney and I used to work at the same school together but she has since moved back to her hometown. She has one boy, Oliver, who was born 3 weeks before Luke. This farm was in between us so a perfect meeting place! One year I took my 2nd grade class here for a field trip so it was neat to be there with my boys.
It was really windy but they had a blast!

Haunted tunnel, which I climbed in to get Luke out and about had a panic attack from claustrophobia! Not good!

A wooden train to play in.

 Tire swing!
We need to get one of these cars for the boys! May be a good Christmas present!

Posing with the Pumpkins!
Its really hard to get 3 kids under 3 to all look at the camera at the same time. I love how Luke has his hand on Olivers head. Haha!

Such a fun day with Courtney and Oliver!

Last year I took the boys to Demonye's Greenhouse where they turn the indoor part into a fun Fall activity zone. Last year Luke was only 2 months and Marshall was 22 months. This year they both could run around and they had a ball!
 Hay maze!

Luke loved playing in the corn the most!

Bounce house!

Haunted house

Marshall loved the haunted house. There was one really scary part where a scary looking upside down dead character starts screaming when you walk by it but other than that it wasn't too bad. He hasn't had nightmares thank goodness!

A little play house

There were animals. But there weren't too into them. Luke gets so scared if they start moving or making noises. I did think the pink pigs were cute.

I am so blessed to be able to stay home and spend so much fun time with my boys. We have been super busy with two bible studies, going to a MOPS group, and going to Jazzercise. Each of these have childcare and start around 9:30 in the morning on a different day of the week. So we are always on the go. I'm not too sure I knew what I signed up for with all these groups. But I love to talk to other Moms, learn about God, Jesus, and the Bible and free childcare! Honestly though I have really enjoyed the bible studies. I haven't studied the bible since I was young. I find myself looking forward to reading it and spending time with God. It helps me be a better Mom and wife which a work in progress every day.
