Just like that Luke is half a year old!

Sometimes it seems like he was just born and other times it feels like Luke has been here forever! 

Love my sweet baby boy! He truly is the sweetest baby. 

Look at that smile. 

He still loves to be in the Ergo or always close to his mama.

And he loves his exercaucer! Look at those cheeks. 

Stats

Weight: 16.6 lbs

Length: 27 inches

Eating: I am still breast feeding. He has become a little distracted eater. This is me trying to nurse him in the car and he would rather hold onto the steering wheel. Watch out its not time to drive yet! 

I slowly started introducing baby food about a week before he turned 6 months. If you can't tell this is a little dohicky you put food in and he can suck it out. I can't remember the name of it lol

He likes bananas, pears, apples, and pumpkin/apple mix. He's not too fond of butternut squash or avocado just yet.  He is very interested in food and gets mad when its gone. 

The minute you put him on his back he rolls over to his stomach and prefers to stay that way. Probably to see what his big bro is doing. 

In order to get him to stay on his back I had a toy in my hand for these pictures. 

Sleep: Oi! It's not good! For naps he will only sleep about 45 minutes at the most unless he is laying with me then he will sleep two hours. At night he goes down between 6 and 7 and will initially sleep for 4-5 hours. But am I sleeping during that time? No because who goes to sleep at 6:00? lol Then he is up every 45 minutes to 2 hours after that. It's a blur honestly! He is almost through this really tough leap so hopefully for my 7 month post I will have better sleeping to report. I really hope!!!Fingers crossed! 

Personality: He loves to be tickled and has the best belly laugh ever. Luke is always happy unless I am trying to put him to sleep without me or if he is hungry. He has started getting upset if we take something away from him that he really wants. Other than that he is happy to play on his mat or exersaucer between sleeping and eating. He loves to watch Marshall play and likes to grab at him. Marshall thinks its funny!
