Turning 32!

I turned 32 a couple weeks ago and have had house guests for two weekends in a row which was so much fun but kept me busy!  My mom came up my birthday weekend. Rob and I met two other couples for my birthday dinner while my mom watched Marshall. It was great to have adult conversation! The next day Rob's dad came up and brought his infamous cake he makes for all of our birthdays. 

 

It was so good and I've been on a sugar kick ever since- eating cake, ice cream, cookies every day! It's out of control!

On my birthday, we took M to Cosi (a children's science museum) for the first time and he had a blast. 

So many fun things to do! 

And all tuckered out...

The following weekend Lauren and her daughter, Brooklyn, came up to get away during Brooklyn's spring break. We went back to Cosi because it was too cold to do anything outdoors and Brooklyn loved it. Lauren is also pregnant and we were both exhausted and had to pull Brooklyn  away! 

Marshall absolutely loved Brooklyn and she was so good with him. It was great practice for her because she will be a big sister soon! 

After we got home and rested for a bit we managed to muster up the energy to get ready for dinner. Just the girls went out to shop and have dinner. We went to the Lego store, dinner at my fave place Bon Vie, and then ice cream at Jeni's ice cream. It was all so much fun and so delicious!

Brooklyn got to order steak! Yum!

Lauren and I stayed up late Saturday night and watched UK beat Notre Dame. It was such a good game! Notre dame was up almost the entire time and we won by 2 with a free point shot! Phew! About gave us a heart attack! 

It has been a fun couple of weeks and now this is me!!!

Spring break 2015 is here! I couldn't be more excited!!
