2 months!

I can not believe 2 months have passed since I gave birth to my beautiful baby boy! It is still surreal at times that I have a son!
M had his 2 month appointment which meant first round of shots! He took them like a champ! He cried for a minute but once I picked him up he stopped. I laid him back down to take a picture and he started crying again so don't think I'm a horrible mom for taking his picture when he was crying. Hehe

Weight: 10 lbs 14 oz
Length: 23 inches
Clothes size: 0-3 or 3 months depending on the brand
Diaper size: he recently moved up to size 2 diapers!

Some outtakes- I couldn't pick only one!

He loves to watch his mobile!

One of Rob's parents' friends sent us this really neat stool and I had to share. The letters of his name are a puzzle! So cute!

Here's what we've been up to the last week:
My two BFFs Mandy and Becky drove all the way from Ky to meet baby M. I just love these girls so much and started crying when they got here. I miss them sooo much! We have been friends since high school so going on 15 years! That's crazy to think about! They were in love with baby M of course!

Becky and Mandy both worked their Mommy magic and rocked him to sleep when he was crying.

Mandy and her sweet girls got him this adorable outfit:

Their trip was too short. I wish we lived in the same city. I am so used to just hopping in the car and driving to Ky. With a baby that's not going to happen for awhile. :( Maybe this summer!

I have made friends with some really great girls in Ohio too. We wanted to gave a Christmas get together but it didn't happen so we decided on a V-day get together. 4 of the girls cancelled but the other half of the group had a blast catching up. Although it was pretty hard to have a conversation with 4 kids under 2!

Courtney is holding baby M and I'm holding Rycki's daughter, Tanley.
We met at Molly's house. Her hubby took this picture. It was hard getting 4 kids under 2 to sit still. Lol!
And yes my hair is brown! I decided the day before this picture was taken to go to the nearest salon and go back brown. I like my hair better blonde but my roots were out of control and I don't have 4 hours to get my hair done anymore. Plus I'll save some money. I know he won't be this little for long and eventually I'll get my freedom to leave the house for longer periods of time back.

Valentine's Day is one of my favorites because there's chocolate, gifts, and being a teacher I can celebrate with my students.
This is what I made my students:
They are really into the mustache theme. They love to draw them on anything and everything. So when I saw these candy molds at Joann's I thought they would love them! I used candy melts for the chocolates. I learned a neat trick on YouTube. Put the candy melts in a pastry bag or a sandwich ziplock bag like I did and microwave it for 30 second intervals until melted. Then cut off the corner of the bag and squeeze into molds! So simple, easy, and fun!  I found the Valentines on Etsy.

Rob and I usually don't do too much but we do give each other a card and a little something. This will be our 10th V-day together! Crazy! I decided I wanted to do something special but simple and saw this idea on Pinterest:
Instead of having a cute saying to go with each gift I made little tags with day 1, day 2, etc.
Here's what I gave him (his favorite things):
Day 1- Twizzlers
Day 2- Cheez it's
Day 3- 14 reasons why I love Rob
Day 4- Chapstick
Day 5- picture frame with picture for his desk at work
Day 6- Hugs chocolates
Day 7- Funny V-day card
Day 8- Spicy Cheetos
Day 9- nothing- oops I didn't have time to go to the store
Day 10- Under armour shirt
Day 11- Under armour boxers
Day 12- Sphere ice cube molds

Day 13- Art of shaving soap
Day 14- 12 months of preplanned dates, one for each month and a sweet card

Happy Valentines Day!
