Natalie is 2 months old!

What a whirlwind 2 months this has been! Having 3 kids under 4 is absolutely crazy most days but my heart is seriously so full! She completes our family!

First big bow!
She and I both love the Ergo!

The boys are absolutely smitten with her!

We had Newborn pictures done and our photographer always does family pics too. They turned out soo good! Here are just a few...

Weight: 10.9 lbs
Height: 24 inches
Head: 15.2
Diaper size- 1
Clothing size- 0-3
Fussy time- from about 5-9/10:00 she’s fussy and cries unless someone is holding her so I will wear her in the ergo from about 5-7 and put white noise on my phone and put it close to her ear and bath water running seems to calm her down. Yes that’s right bath water! I will sit her in her baby bath in the bath tub and just run the water and she will stop crying. The bath doesn’t fill up. So we do that and then put her pjs on and rock her or hold her until she finally crashes and will let us put her down around 9:00. She is still sleeping in her swing in her room. I don’t turn it on at night. during the day I will if I think she will go to sleep on her own. I’ll put her in it awake and turn it on and sometimes she falls asleep. Mostly just the first nap.

Eat- We are exclusively breast feeding! She eats every 2-3 hours.

Sleep- I have been following the Eat, Wake, sleep schedule and it’s really helping me know when she’s hungry vs tired. So in the morning she wakes up around 8:00. She eats and then I put her down for her first nap an hour after she wakes up. That’s the easiest nap to get her down. She will usually go in the swing awake and I’ll turn it on and she goes to sleep on her own. Then she might sleep 1.5-2 hours then I feed her and she’s up for about an hour total then goes back down and we repeat that all day. If we leave the house of course that’s a different story. But she will sleep in the car/ running errands if she’s not hungry. I wear her in the ergo a lot if I’m at a park or store with the boys and she’ll sleep.
Milestones- at this stage she doesn’t do much but eat sleep and poop haha but she has started cooing and smiling. She loves to look at the ceiling fan.

She is a true blessing and sometimes I think about what life would be like without her and I just cant imagine it! Its absolutely crazy but I know it will get easier soon.

Natalie Elizabeth is here!

Natalie's birth story

8/7-Dr apt- 3 cm

8/12-Saturday I had contractions off and on all night but nothing close enough to go in.

8/13- Sunday contractions all night again. Timed them the next morning and they were getting to be 6-7 minutes apart. Talked to nurse she said go in. Called my mom and told her to come over so we could go to hospital. Left around 9:30. Stopped at Starbucks to get breakfast. Checked in to L and D and I was 4-5 cm. Got a room and had a great nurse. She kept saying how I was her easy patient. Contractions were getting stronger and about 5 min apart. Got an epidural around noon and felt amazing!! A resident doctor came in and broke my water. Checked me around 1:30 and I was still only about 5 cm so started pitocin. Around 3:00 they checked me again and said I had no cervix left and I was fully dialated! That happened way faster than my first two. She said she would go call my doctor and to tell her if I felt pressure. Around 3:15 I felt pressure. She checked and baby was low. Dr came in around 3:30 and looked at Rob and said you are going to deliver this baby ðŸ˜³ She put gown, hair net and gloves on herself and Rob. She sat him down and explained a few things. The nurse asked if I wanted to watch and I said yes. She moved the mirror on the ceiling so I could see. I pushed twice and she was here at 3:48 pm! Dr coached Rob how to deliver her. I actually had a dr appointment scheduled for 3:50 to get checked haha so my dr was with me during that time which I thought was funny. She nursed right away for an hour and has been a great nurser ever since! Love her so!! I would have 10 more babies! I love labor and delivery!
Last picture being pregnant...

Dr.Chan and Rob delivering...
She's here!!

Foot prints!

We only stayed 24 hours and then we were out of there!
Her poor face was bruised because she was delivered so quickly.

The boys were absolutely smitten with her!

She completes our family!!! We are soon blessed!

36 weeks with baby number 3!

Well I really dropped the ball on keeping up with this blog. I would ideally like to post monthly but its just so hard to get anything extra done these days. You would think since I stay home I would have all this extra time but I'm not really sure where the time goes. Plus I used to be able to update it on my phone and now that app isn't working so I have to use the computer.

Here's an update on life lately. I'm 37 weeks pregnant and hoping the baby doesn't come until at least 38 weeks. I am actually really sad to think about pregnancy ending. I actually don't mind being pregnant. But I am getting to the uncomfortable stage for sure. I'm sleeping pretty well and feeling pretty good for the most part. I weigh more than I would like but that's my only real complaint. I am a lot less active with this pregnancy because I am not teaching like I did my first two pregnancies. So its my fault. And maybe all those cookies. haha!

So here are some bump pics from the last couple months...

Since I never do my hair or look nice I took this pic while we were at a friends baptism back in June.

Comparison of all three. I tried finding a 36 week pic from marshall but couldn't find it so thats me at 38 weeks and I had him a week later.
We had a growth scan because she's measuring a little big and it was so sweet to see her!
Her legs and arms were average but her belly was measuring big which they said can be normal. The tech could see wisps of hair too!

Cravings- this last month I've been craving fresh sliced tomatoes and have been eating them on egg sandwiches for breakfast and on salads for lunch. If I don't drink my pink drink or if I'm really tired I crave cookies too.

Feeling/ sleep- If my boys sleep all night I do not feel tired. There were a couple weeks there where Luke was getting up in the middle of the night and not going back to sleep and Marshall was getting up at 5:30. But since starting M on a methylated B-12 vitamin he is sleeping until at least 7! One day it was 7:50! Some of you may think thats early but thats soon late for him! So that is really helpful. Especially with a new baby coming.

Heres some things we've been up lately...
Church and Rob holding his boys.

This summer has been pretty mild for the most part. This day it was in July and like 60 degrees it felt so good so we went to the zoo. We rode on dinosaur rides for the first time. It was a blast!

When its been warm enough we have been playing in the backyard with the sprinkler and pool!

We found a gelato place and it was relish! the boys both picked mint chocolate chip for the first time. I ate most of Marshall's and Luke finished his. Totally typical haha

My friend Jamie lives like 2 minutes away and has an amazing backyard with this being that Marshall absolutely loves. He will swing on it for an hour.

The next blog post will be about my birth story! EEEK!!!! I'm excited for labor and delivery because I think its fun and exciting and I would give birth 10 times if I could! I know I'm weird! Wish us luck!

Weeks 24-28 baby no. 3!

The last 4 weeks have flown by! We went to Hilton Head for two weeks and had a blast!

Here are some pics of what we've been up besides vacay.

We got a playlet in our backyard which has been a lifesaver!

Lots of park time!

 Pregnancy
Craving- spicy California rolls are a new craving
Feeling- mostly tired and worn out from chasing two toddlers. Plus lets be honest vacation with kids is exhausting! I get lower back pain a lot too.

Not many bump pics.
27 weeks- you can barely see me because the picture is so dark.

 28 weeks!

Went to the doctor for the glucose test and just a monthly checkup. She started measuring my belly and she's measuring exactly 28 weeks! Now we go to appointments every 2 weeks! EEK! I'ts getting real!
We have absolutely nothing ready for her. No car seat or crib. Her room is still set up as an office but we will get it all done.

20-24 weeks with baby #3!

I had no idea what I was getting myself into with having two kids this close together. I am dealing with terrible twos and a threenanger. It is rough! And being pregnant makes it more difficult. Of course I'm writing this during a horrible weather week. It went from nice and sunny out to yucky, cold, and rainy. So that makes a huge difference. This is life lately...

Having a hard time fitting both on my lap with my belly.

The boys enjoyed Easter. We had the neighborhood Mom's group over for an Easter egg hunt. It was crazy but fun!

Luke got his first black eye from falling offthe coffee table and had his first chocolate bunny!

Luke is a handful! If I turn my back for a minute he's in the sink or toilet. Oh my!

This is a built in shelf Rob's Dad built when he was in town for the toy room. They are not supposed to sit on top of it or eat in this room and if you look closely Luke has food. insert eye roll

I found a Care Bears Dvd and Marshall loves it. There is a part where a hand comes out of the sky to send kindness to everyone so they are immulating that in the picture. As you can see Luke does everything Marshall does.

Once again not allowed on the island. I was in the basement and came up to find themselves to an apple. Trouble with a capital T!

Luke and I at Costco all by ourselves enjoying the samples! Having one at the store is a piece of cake!

Luke had his first corn on the cob and LOVED it!

Meanwhile Rob has been pulling out the over grown landscaping including HUGE stumps!

We had a little mini photo session done and the boys enjoyed the playground where we were taking pictures.

Of course we bribed them with suckers during the photo shoot.

Pregnancy
Craving- Either sweet or Spicy/ Mexican!
Feeling- Pretty good. If I'm too active I get

Braxton Hicks. I feel her move at night when I lay down. No acid reflux or heartburn thanks to the plant based supplements I take which is crazy to me. I was on nexium, zantac, and tums with the first two pregnancies.

I think this is the only bump picture I took between 20 and 24 weeks. Third baby probs! Ha!
